MERCURY REMOVAL

The Huggins-Grube Protocol includes "safe mercury removal" utilizing the latest in technology to protect not only the patient, but also the dentist and the dental staff. While several European countries have banned the use of mercury fillings (e.g., Sweden, Denmark, and Norway), the European Union (EU) has now placed limitations on the use of mercury fillings for women and children. This is the result of the Minamata Convention on Mercury Treaty.

The United States, as well as other developed countries, continue to allow mercury fillings to be implanted in the mouths of not only adults, but also children, even though the United States has ratified the Minamata Convention on Mercury Treaty.
