Dr. Blanche D. Grube has been in private practice at her Scranton, PA office for three decades, providing exceptional general dentistry and surgical expertise in a friendly, home-like environment. Dr. Grube holds a second doctorate in Integrative Medicine and is certified in conscious sedation. She has had extensive training in homeopathy, nutrition, iridology, colon hydrotherapy, neural therapy and acupuncture.
For the first ten years of practice Dr. Grube followed the methods of conventional dentistry. In the early 90’s a simple question from a patient changed her life’s direction. She became interested in Biological Dentistry or Holistic Dentistry as a result of a request from one of her patients asking if mercury in amalgam fillings could cause the health problems the woman was experiencing. Through a series of events Dr. Blanche connected with Dr. Hal Huggins in Colorado Springs and the stage was set for what would become a new direction in her dental practice and a collaboration that would be far-reaching in her professional career.
Over the years Dr. Grube joined Dr. Huggins in the fight against mercury amalgam and root canal placement. She has spent countless hours training with like minded practitioners under Dr. Huggins and teaching the Huggins Protocol in seminars around the world with him. Since becoming “mercury free” twenty years ago Dr. Blanche has been at the forefront of the “Biological Dentistry” movement. In October of 2011 Dr. Grube was installed as president of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM). The IABDM, based in Spring, Texas, has been redefining the cutting edge of healthcare since 1985. The organization is committed to the education of holistic dentists, physicians and practitioners in the art and science of biological dentistry. As president of the IABDM, Dr. Blanche D. Grube is now at the forefront of biological dentistry for the 21st century. She will continue to expand her influence working with dentists from across the world, utilizing her thirty-plus years in practice, her countless hours of study in the field, and her advanced practical and classroom education as the catalyst to move the IABDM forward over the coming years. This is all good news for Dr. Grube’s patients.
Dr. Blanche is married to Dr. John Grube, a chiropractor, who works in the practice with her. Together they have three grown children. Dr. Blanche has a generous heart and believes in helping others. She had the honor in March of 2010 of being ordained into Knighthood. She was Knighted as a Dame in the Sacred Medical Order of the Knights of Hope in which she is an active member.
